Traffic Division

The Barnstable Police Traffic Division is dedicated to keeping our community safe while on the road. Barnstable Police Department has a new Black and White design on our cruisers.

K9 Unit

The Barnstable Police K9 Unit was started in 1976. At this time there are two trained police dogs working the road in Barnstable and one police dog in training: Alex (Patrol K9) and Yvonne (Narcotics detection) and the newest member is Romko (Patrol K9).
